Tāwhirowhiro

$4,500.00

1.(verb) to whirl, spin.

Born out of a kitchen benchtop, Tāwhirowhiro celebrates renewal, cycles and enduring re-creation. Each spin tells a story embedded not only in the music, but in the materials of which it is crafted.

A precision-cut 3cm thick marble slab rests on an engineered acrylic chassis, designed to minimise vibrations from the motor and speakers. This ensures a clean, crisp soundscape for any listener. The high-inertia marble platter, belt-driven by a synchronous AC motor, delivers stable and whisper-quiet playback.

The frame, crafted from rich walnut sourced from a sustainable local mill, is accented by polished brass fittings. The elements converge in a whirlwind that is Tāwhirowhiro to create a refined and modern treasure that reflects the continuous flow of time and energy.
